EastEnders was the big winner at the virtual Inside Soap Awards on Monday night, taking home Best Soap among its five gongs.
The BBC show also won the awards for Best Actress (Jessica Plummer, who played Chantelle), Funniest Performance (Lorraine Stanley, who plays Karen), Best Partnership (Kellie Bright and Danny Dyer, who star as Linda and Mick) and Feelgood Moment (Walford celebrates Pride).
Plummer has received widespread acclaim for her portrayal of domestic abuse victim Chantelle in one of EastEnders' most harrowing storylines. The star, who is currently taking part in ITV's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, described her EastEnders role as "an honour".
"This is probably one of the biggest achievements of my career," she said. "It was an honour to even be nominated, so I'm completely blown away.
"I came off social media for a quite long time - for me! - after my final episode aired, as I personally had to mourn my character and all the changes in my life. But, when I came back, the reception I got from everyone was so heart-warming.
"Chantelle was a loved character and it really was an honour to play her."
Coronation Street's Ian Bartholomew won two awards for his portrayal of abuser Geoff Metcalfe, Best Actor and Best Villain. His co-star Shelley King, who plays onscreen wife Yasmeen, won the Showstopper award for her character's fightback.
Speaking about the storyline, Bartholomew said: "For me, witnessing Shelley crumbling as Yasmeen, and watching this character that I was playing destroy her in front of me was actually really quite upsetting.
"I felt bad doing all those things, but we both wanted to do it as well and as truthfully as we could."
Coronation Street's Mollie Gallagher was honoured with the Newcomer award for her performance as Nina Lucas.
