Reports indicate that there will be a murder involving Ian Beale at Christmas on EastEnders in the Queen Vic.
Ian Beale, played by Adam Woodyatt, has been causing ructions in the Square recently. He's been annoying many people around him - one person so much that it will result in grievous bodily harm.
Woodyatt is rumoured to be preparing to take a break from the series, but the soap producers are not letting him leave without wreaking havoc.
Sharon Watts and ex Phil Mitchell want to get to the bottom of whether Ian was involved in the death of her son Dennis earlier this year.
Dotty Cotton knows the truth and is desperate to expose Ian.
The trouble is not just around his friends, at home, he is pushing mum Kathy Beale and sons Peter and Bobby away.
The Daily Star claims it has been told by a BBC source that Woodyatt will be off "for around 10 weeks". The BBC has not commented on the story.
EastEnders airs on RTÉ One and BBC One on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
