Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson is taking an extended break from the group due to "private medical reasons".
A spokesperson for the female quartet released a statement to The Sun that said: "Jesy is having extended time off from Little Mix for private medical reasons."

Twenty-nine-year-old Nelson recently pulled out of presenting the MTV Europe Music Awards with bandmates Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock and was not part of the final of the group's talent show The Search on BBC One. A representative for Nelson explained at the time that the singer was ill.
Little Mix released their new album, Confetti, earlier this month.
