Two stars of The Good Doctor have contracted Covid-19, but filming is continuing on the show in Vancouver, Canada.
The pair, The West Wing's Richard Schiff and Gossip Girls actor Sheila Kelley, are married in real life as well as in the series.
The Good Doctor's new season, which started airing three episodes ago in the US, has a heavy Covid-19 theme with multiple incubations and deaths.
In the season so far, Schiff, who plays Dr Glassmann, and Kelley, who plays Debbie, are unhappily working from home.
Schiff was diagnosed on November 3 and has been hospitalised since, saying that he is on oxygen while his wife is at home ill.
Taking to social media the pair thanked well wishers.
Covid update.

Thank you all for so much love and support. You're making it so much easier for @thesheilakelley and me.
I am in the hospital on Remdesivir, O2 and steroids showing some improvement every day. Sheila is home and doing better but still fairly ill. Love you all. https://t.co/sWjOetsgUP
