Gillian Anderson has said she and her partner Peter Morgan had to create boundaries on set while working together on The Crown.
Anderson takes on the role of Margaret Thatcher in the Netflix drama and her partner Morgan is the writer.
The two have been in a relationship since 2016 but this marks their first time working together.
"For our own sanity, and actually for the benefit of the relationship, we had very clear boundaries," she told Harper's Bazaar.
"I am not going to comment on the script, but you are not allowed to comment on the performance!"
The actress also recalled a moment on set between the two, saying: "I smiled at him, as me, Gillian, smiling at her boyfriend, and he said, 'This is Thatcher! This smile is Thatcher!' And I'm like, no! This smile is me!"
The latest season of The Crown is now on Netlflix.
