Conan O'Brien gave the nation a welcomed laugh on Friday's Late Late Show by poking fun at Ireland's ever-changing weather and admitting how his body "immediately responds" to being in the country.
Speaking to Ryan Tubridy on Friday's Late Late Show, the 57-year-old American television host and comedian, who is best known for hosting the late-night talk shows Late Night with Conan O'Brien and The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, joked about how "every single cell" in his body welcomes the country's mild climate.
"My body immediately responds to being in Ireland because every single cell in my body says 'Yes'. There's no sun out and my skin says: 'Yes, you are home!'"
"I am living near the Mexican border and it's killing me. I cannot live in this environment," he laughed.
"I am not meant for this environment and I have a dermatologist who I see every six months and he says to me: 'Get out of this country and go back home. You're supposed to live in a bog, you idiot!'"
The hilarious @ConanOBrien tells Ryan why he's keen to get back to his Irish roots and it's not why you might think 😂#LateLate pic.twitter.com/Bq0zsGVzyB
