Britney Spears has assured her fans she's the happiest she's ever been amid ongoing concern for the singer's wellbeing.
In a short video, the 38-year-old singer told her legion of fans that she is "fine" and said she is aware "a lot of comments and a lot of people" are "saying a lot of different things about me".
"I just want to let you guys know that I am fine," Spears said on Instagram. "I'm the happiest I’ve ever been in my life.
"I’m sending all of you guys a lot of prayers, wishes and a lot of love."
Jamie Spears has had strict control over his daughter's life since 2008, when the chart-topping star's public breakdown led him to take charge of her personal and financial decisions.
