Former Neighbours star Jason Donovan has been impressing judges with his skating skills along with Rebekah Vardy ahead of this years Dancing On Ice.
The contestants gathered for this year's programme at the beginning of the month and have been put through their paces.
The Sun reports that the pre-show skating assessments suggest that Donovan is the best skater so far, followed by mother- of-five WAG Vardy.
"Every year the stars are secretly scored by production to see how well they're getting on," a source told the publication.
"Jason is by far the best but Becky wasn’t too far behind. Although she was nervous, she’s turning out to be a frontrunner. The coaches and choreographers were really impressed by their progress.
"It’s one of the toughest shows but both Becky and Jason have really thrown themselves into training."
Musician Lady Leshurr, Colin Jackson, Graham Bell, Myleene Klass, Joe-Warren Plant, Denise Van Outen, Faye Brookes, Sonny Jay, Billie Shepherd and Rufus Hound are also on the ice for this year's competition.
"Joe and Vanessa have really been putting in the hours. He could be the dark horse.
"Joe is only 18 so people weren’t sure if he’d take the show seriously but he’s really impressed."
Dancing On Ice will be on our screens in January 2021.
