The Good Fight returns for a fourth run, The Trump Show lands, Taskmaster and Riviera return, while it's the end of the line for The Grand Party Hotel and Frankie Boyle’s New World Order . . .

Pick of the Day

The Good Fight, 10.15pm, RTÉ One

Season four of this often superb and always entertaining spin-off from The Good Wife begins where it left off - not being a fan of Donald Tump.

Christine Baranski’s character Diane - increasingly radicalised during Trump’s presidency - finds herself living in an alternate reality where Donald Trump was never elected and Hillary Clinton is in The White House.

All the gang are back, including Cush Jumbo as Lucca Quinn, who ends up defending none other than disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein in this 'other’ world.

Can’t wait to see how this plays out. What a great show!

Don't Miss

Rio Bravo, 8.00pm, BBC Four

Another fantastic western in this time slot (last week’s was John Ford’s sublime The Searchers). If you haven’t seen it, do yourself a favour. If you have seen it, you know it’s great.

Howard Hawks’ greatest film is arguably even better than Ford’s classic.

It stars the likes of John Wayne, Dean Martin, Ricky Nelson, Angie Dickinson and Walter Brennan, and follows the sheriff of the town of Rio Bravo, Texas, who arrests the brother of a powerful local rancher for murder and a siege develops.
