Popstar Olly Murs, who found fame on The X Factor, has announced live shows in Cork and Belfast as part of 25 date tour taking place next summer.

Murs will play Live At Botanic Gardens in Belfast on June 7 and Cork Live At The Marquee on June 8.

Fans can expect to hear some of his biggest hits including Dear Darlin, Heart Skips A Beat, Dance With Me and Wrapped Up during his set.

Since becoming runner-up to Joe McElderry on The X Factor in 2009, Murs has achieved four number one albums, with five of his LPs achieving platinum status. He has also collaborated with Demi Lovato, Snoop Dogg and Flo Rida.

He's become one of the most successful contestants from the TV talent show and even returned to host the The X Factor with Caroline Flack in 2015 before joining rival series The Voice as a coach.

Despite the pandemic, it's been a busy year for Murs, who recently captained England in this year's Soccer Aid, and is looking to retain his crown as winning judge on his third series of The Voice, which has currently been postponed at the semi-final stages.

Plus he has been sharing some rather entertaining videos on Tik Tok - most of them featuring his ongoing prank war with his girlfriend Amelia Tank.

Murs is also working on new music which will be released next year.
