Electronic band Faithless have announced that they are releasing their first new album in ten years, All Blessed, this October.

The band, best known for the song Insomnia, made the announcement on Instagram writing: ''All Blessed the album, featuring new single Synthesizer. October 23rd.

''In this troubled and increasingly violent world, lyrically this album reflects what has always been our manifesto: be conscious, be caring & love yourself. #AllBlessed"

The new album comes out on October 23, the album is preceded by lead track Synthesizer.

Speaking about their new single the band said: "This is the track that got us thinking of doing a new album in the first place.

"It's love letter to what we do and the music we make and also a little social commentary on our obsession with technology, musically all rolled into a big bold warm Faithless-y anthem".

Sister Bliss has said that she feels ''proud'' to be releasing a new album with Faithless.

On Instagram she wrote ''On a rather depressing rainy day in London I hope this will cheer you up - proud to bring news of our new Faithless album All Blessed featuring brand spanking new single Synthesizer. Out on October 23rd. (sic)''

Faithless broke up in 2011, they briefly reunited to celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2015.
