Elsa Pataky has opened up about her ten-year marriage with Chris Hemsworth and admits it still requires ''constant work''.

The 44-year-old model, who tied the knot with the 37-year-old Thor actor in 2010, insists their romance isn't ''perfect''.

Speaking to Body+Soul magazine, Pataky said: ''It's funny that people think of us as a perfect couple. No way.

''It's been ups and downs, and we still keep working at the relationship. I think a relationship is constant work. It's not easy.''

Pataky, who has India, eight, and six-year-old twins Sasha and Tristan with Hemsworth, said she bonds with her husband over their shared love of the outdoors.

''[Chris and I] love to do sports, eat healthy and move our bodies.''

It was recently revealed that Hemsworth is set to experience a dramatic physical transformation to play 1980s wrestling legend Hulk Hogan in a new movie from Joker director Todd Phillips.
