Coronation Street star Sam Aston and his wife Briony Gardner are celebrating the birth of their first child, a baby boy.
The couple shared a photo of their son, Sonny James, on Instagram.
"Welcome to the world little man. Our little ray of sunshine. Sonny James Aston," wrote the actor, who plays Chesney Brown on the ITV soap. Yoga instructor Gardner shared the same photo on her Instagram page.
Aston and Gardner celebrated their first wedding anniversary in May.
They started going out as teenagers.
Coronation Street airs on Virgin Media One and ITV on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
