Simon Cowell is reported to be planning his Britain's Got Talent return in October even though he had surgery just last week after breaking his back.
The 60-year-old BGT boss fell off his new Swind E8-01 electric bike at his Malibu home which resulted in him undergoing intensive surgery after breaking his back in three places.
While recuperating at his California mansion with girlfriend Lauren Silverman, their son Eric, six, and Lauren's son, Adam (14), Cowell is preparing to get back on the box.
The Britain's Got Talen t executive is reportedly set to film a one-off special in October, which is expected to feature some of the most successful acts to have appeared on the show.
Cowell will join Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams at the pre-filmed recording which is said to be taking place in London.

Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "Simon is a total workaholic and even an accident as nasty as his won't keep him off for long. He's been working from his home in Los Angeles since the accident happened and is in contact with his team.
"The plans for this one-off special of Britain's Got Talent have been in the pipeline for months and he is convinced he will be well enough to take his place on the panel."
The insider added: "The show will feature some of the best talent from the start of the series in 2007.
"Simon has been told to take it easy but he much prefers to be busy. Plus he loves working on BGT, so for him, it's something to look forward to."
