The mysterious Jaye Jayle has just released his new album, Prisyn. We ask him the BIG questions...

Tell us three things about yourself.
I was born, raised and still reside in Kentucky.

How would you describe your music?
Outsider Future Blues.

Who are your musical inspirations?
Film scores have been my most consistent influence. As far as other musicians; somewhere between John Lee Hooker, Ennnio Morricone and Portishead is where I like to create.

How have you been occupying yourself during the coronavirus lockdown?
I've taken up drawing. Creating music very little while in the lockdown, but getting the same high from my drawings.

What's your favourite song right now?
Machine Gun by Portishead.

Favourite lyric of all time?
That's not an easy one. How about "It's time to put God away" from the song Faith/Void by Bill Callahan?

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life what would it be?
Tangerine Dream's Phaedra
