Comedian Amy Schumer has revealed that she has decided to stop having fertility treatment as she finds IVF "really tough."
The I Feel Pretty star spoken openly last February about the IVF treatment she undertook so that they could have a sibling for their son Gene.
Speaking on a forthcoming episode of Sunday Today with Willie Geist the actress explained that if they were to have a sibling for Gene it would be with the help of a surrogate.
Schumer said: ''We did IVF and IVF was really tough on me. I don't think I could ever do IVF again.
''I decided that I can't be pregnant ever again. We thought about a surrogate, but I think we're going to hold off for right now.''
Speaking about her son she said: ''Life is so much more beautiful. He's the best thing in my life.''
Earlier this year, Schumer posted pictures of her bruised stomach on social media and called for people to share their experiences of fertility treatment.
Writing on Instagram she said: ''I'm a week into IVF and feeling really run down and emotional. If anyone went through it and if you have any advice or wouldn't mind sharing your experience with me please do."
