Leonardo DiCaprio's production company, Appian Way Prods., has signed a first-look deal with Apple TV+.

The film and TV production company was founded by the Oscar-winning actor and is co-run by producer Jennifer Davisson.

The multi-year deal between Apple and Appian Way covers television projects and unscripted features.

DiCaprio is no stranger to streaming services having exec-produced the Netflix docuseries Fire Chasers and feature film doc Virunga. He will also produce Barry Jenkins’ dramatic feature based on Virunga, which is also in the works at Netflix.

He has already collaborated with Apple TV+ on the upcoming Martin Scorsese film Killers of the Flower Moon and Shining Girls, the recently announced thriller starring Elisabeth Moss.

Appian Way joins a number of high-profile companies who have deals with Apple including Elba’s Green Door Pictures, Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions, A24 and Imagine Documentaries.
