This August Bank Holiday weekend The Coronas hit the road on a mini tour with a difference - they'll be travelling in an ice cream van.
Their True Love Waits album is released on July 31 and the band has teamed-up with Murphy’s Ice Cream to hit the road in a Super Sprinkles ice-cream van, signing copies of their album and giving free pots of Murphy’s to their fans.
The Coronas' Ice Cream Tour kicks off next Thursday July 30 at Golden Discs on Patrick Street in Cork, where they are doing a special event from 4pm.

It’s called Red Talks: Records in The Vinyl Lounge, where the lads will chat about the records that shaped their lives with Dave Mac from Drivetime Red FM.
On Friday they start at Mitchelstown’s Town Square, followed by stops in Limerick music venue Dolan’s and finishing up that evening at Murphy’s Ice Cream on High Street in Galway.
Saturday sees them at Murphy’s Ice Cream on Wicklow Street in Dublin, then to the Millpond in Dundrum Town Centre finishing that evening outside Starbucks in Liffey Valley.
The tour ends on Monday August 3, as they visit City Square Shopping Centre in Waterford and then take a trip out to Dunmore East.
