Hollyoaks favourite Claire Cooper and her husband and former co-star Emmett J Scanlan have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.
Irish actor Scanlan, who played Brendan Brady in the Channel 4 soap, shared the happy news on social media, writing: "It's a boy."

Knightfall star Cooper, who played Jacqui McQueen in Hollyoaks, married Scanlan in 2015.
Peaky Blinders star Scanlan also has a daughter from a previous relationship.
