Britain's Brightest Celebrity Family, 6.55pm, Virgin Media One

Anne `The Governess' Hegerty presents as eight celebrity families take part in the knockout tournament, hoping to win a nice, five-figure for their chosen charity and the coveted title of Britain's Brightest Celebrity Family.

The first episode is a battle of the soaps, as Coronation Street's Lucy Fallon (who plays Bethany Platt) and her family take on former EastEnders star Shaun Williamson (below, who plays Barry Evans) and his clan.

Two new rounds have been added to this celebrity spin on the format - including an Observation round featuring cartoon images of Anne that put their memories to the test.

The Morgan Motor Company provides unrestricted access to the factory floors, opening its doors to reveal how its £90,000 Plus Six sports car is made, with 170 craftspeople using classic coach-building techniques.

Rockfield: The Studio on the Farm, 9.15pm, BBC Four

Documentary telling the unlikely tale of how brothers Kingsley and Charles Ward turned their dairy farm in Monmouth into a world-renowned recording studio.

It has played host to Black Sabbath, Queen, the Stone Roses, Oasis, Coldplay, Simple Minds, Robert Plant and Manic Street Preachers among others. Including contributions by Ozzy Osbourne, Liam Gallagher, Tony Iommi and Chris Martin.

Robert Plant: By Myself, 10.45pm, BBC Four

The singer Robert Plant (below) discusses his varied life and musical career, including his upbringing in the West Midlands town of Stourbridge, his rise to stardom as the singer of influential rock band Led Zeppelin and his solo projects.

The programme also reflects on his collaboration with country singer Alison Krauss, with whom he made the Grammy-winning album Raising Sand, and his reunion with virtuoso guitarist Jimmy Page.

Showbiz Kids, 9.00pm, Sky Documentaries

A look at the impact of working as a child actor in the entertainment industry, with revealing insight from Evan Rachel Wood, Jada Pinkett Smith and others.

Wonders of the Great Barrier Reef with Iolo Williams, 8.15pm, BBC Four

The naturalist travels with a specialist dive team looking for signs of hope that the Great Barrier Reef can survive the threat of global warming

 Invited on the journey by award-winning underwater cinematographer and marine biologist Richard Fitzpatrick, Iolo dives deep beneath the tranquil surface of the coral sea to discover what state this natural wonder is in.

Free Solo, 8.00pm, National Geographic

Documentary following free climber Alex Honnold on his quest to make it up Yosemite's El Capitan without ropes or safety gear.

At 3,200ft, El Capitan will be the largest mountain face ever scaled without equipment, and extensive mental and physical preparation is required.

 Alex's family and friends remain unsure if the rewards are worth the risk.

Everest, 9.45pm, RTÉ One

Bit of a downer for a Saturday night - but this is still a pretty good movie, and it looks amazing.

It's a fact-based adventure, starring Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, Jake Gyllenhaal and Keira Knightley.

Two expeditions set out to climb to the summit of the world's highest mountain. Both parties of mountaineers get caught in one of the fiercest snowstorms ever recorded, and face a desperate struggle to survive against the elements.

Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri, 9.15pm, Channel 4

Martin McDonagh's Bafta and Oscar-winning crime drama is a marvellous slice of cinema, starring Frances McDormand, Sam Rockwell and Woody Harrelson.

Grieving mother Mildred Hayes has suffered an unimaginable personal loss, and hatches an idea that drags the residents of Ebbing, Missouri into a maelstrom of revenge.

She pressures Sheriff Bill Willoughby and his forces into continuing the investigation into her daughter's murder.

It becomes an obsession that has dramatic repercussions for all of the locals.

Family Flick

Captain Underpants: the First Epic Movie, 6.35pm, RTÉ One

This is a hugely enjoyable cartoon adventure based on the best-selling series of books, featuring the voices of Kevin Hart, Thomas Middleditch and Ed Helms.

George (Hart) and Harold (Middleditch), a pair of elementary school pranksters, inadvertently transform their mean-spirited principal into a daring vigilante.
