Fresh from stealing the show along with his co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones and Fleabag's "hot priest" on RTÉ Does Comic Relief, actor Paul Mescal is back with another fix of Normal People for fans still carrying a torch for the show.
The Kildare man, who played the strong (kinda) and very silent Connell in the drama, has posted an Instagram clip of himself reading from Sally Rooney's best-selling novel about two star-crossed lovers.
The actor, who was previously associated with sausages and Ballyhaunis before his breakout role on the show, read an extract for Instagram reading club, Between Two Books, which is run by Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine.
Mescal reads from the scene when Connell and Marianne, who was played by Edgar-Jones, see each other for the first time since school and are reunited at Trinity College during a house party.
