Dublin singer Kehli used the time in Covid-19 lockdown to make the video for her new song Hypnotized, telling RTÉ Entertainment: "There was a plan to shoot a music video for this single, but definitely not in my bedroom."
The video has just been released, and the teenager says she's delighted with the results.
"I had a green screen set up in my bedroom and had my team on a Zoom call over a two-day shoot after a week of rehearsals!" she laughed.
"With everything going on this idea sounded unreal," Kehli admitted.
"Everyone was sceptical on how it would turn out, but we're all so happy with the outcome. Internet connection and lagging caused some trouble, as did not having people physically with me, but we got through it. A tripod that we ordered came too late so I had to improvise with taping my phone to the handle of a saucepan, which was funny - but it worked!"
When asked what she had learned about herself during the time at home, Kehli replied: "I feel like I really did use this time well for myself. To catch up on sleep and to focus on myself and give my mind a break.
"I learned that human contact is so necessary and having a routine is something I need to keep me sane. Having all this time to think and reflect definitely helped me a lot to figure myself out and what I'd like to achieve."
Looking forward to her album, Kehli added: "Watch this space! A lot is in the works and, hopefully, there might be something by the end of this year! Fingers crossed."
