It has been revealed that Star Wars legend Mark Hamill made a secret cameo appearance in the first season of spin-off series The Mandalorian.
Entertainment trade website Deadline.com reports that Hamill voiced a droid bartender in the fifth episode of the first season of The Mandalorian - in the same iconic cantina that featured in the original Star Wars film, A New Hope.
The secret was shared with Star Wars fans in the final episode of behind-the-scenes show Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian.
The Mandalorian creator Jon Favreau explained that the droid's name is EV-9D9, and that he also appeared torturing other droids in Return of the Jedi.
Season two of The Mandalorian is due on Disney+ later this year.
