A US judge has awarded singer Billie Eilish a restraining order against a man who visited her family home repeatedly.
Prenell Rousseau, 24, who is from Long Island, New York, visited Eilish's family home in Los Angeles seven times on May 4 and 5. On one of the occasions, he sat on her front porch to read a book.
A temporary restraining order was taken out at the time which has now been extended for three years.
The order prevents Rousseau from attempting to contact Eilish or her parents or come within 100 yards of them.
Eilish was not present at the hearing, but said in documents that her family were frightened of Rousseau’s "erratic behaviour".
She added: "While we waited for security, Mr Rousseau remained on our porch, sat down and began to read a book, while also continuing to engage in a periodic monologue. My father repeatedly asked him to leave, but he refused."
The Eilish family also said they were scared of Rousseau because he did not wear a face mask or gloves while repeatedly touching the doorbell and doorknob.
