That '70's Show actor Danny Masterson has been charged with the rape of three women between 2001 and 2003.
The 44-year-old, who also starred in The Ranch, has denied the charges, claiming the accusations stem from his membership of the Church of Scientology.
Masterson's lawyer Tom Mesereau, best known for representing Michael Jackson in 2005, said his client, "is innocent".
In a statement, he said: "Obviously, Mr Masterson and his wife are in complete shock considering that these nearly 20-year-old allegations are suddenly resulting in charges being filed, but they and their family are comforted knowing that ultimately the truth will come out."
The accusations first surfaced in 2017, with the actor saying: "I have never been charged with a crime, let alone convicted of one. In this country, you are presumed innocent until proven guilty."
"However, in the current climate, it seems as if you are presumed guilty the moment you are accused." He added
Netflix removed the actor from the comedy The Ranch in 2017.
Last year, four women filed a case against The Church of Scientology and the actor, stating they had been stalked, harassed and intimidated after reporting the alleged abuse.
