Chris Kabs left his job as an accountant to pursue a career in music and wakes up early every day writing, mixing and recording music in his studio in Dublin. We ask him the BIG questions.
Tell us three things about yourself?
I left my job as an accountant so I could immerse myself in music. I play the drums, guitar, piano and I sing. I speak English, Swedish, French and Lingala and have written music in three of the four languages.
How would you describe your music?
My music is versatile and unpredictable. I create what feels natural in the moment.
Who are your musical inspirations?
Kanye West, Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean.
How are you occupying yourself during the coronavirus lockdown?
Luckily enough, I have a fully equipped studio at my place so I'm able to create music whenever I feel bored. Also, my publisher is keeping me busy with different projects to work on and produce.
