Here’s a double-bill of a new US procedural starring former Walking Dead head Tom Payne and the always excellent Michael Sheen.
Former FBI criminal psychologist Malcolm Bright (Payne) is hired by the NYPD as a consultant to help find a killer.
In the process he discovers similarities to the MO of his father Martin Whitley (Sheen), an incarcerated serial killer known as the Surgeon, and decides to visit him for the first time in 10 years to seek help in identifying the culprit.

This documentary - going out simultaneously across various Sky channels - examines the circumstances leading to the recent death of George Floyd, who was killed after he was pinned to the ground with a policeman's knee on his neck.
Followed at 10.00pm on Sky Documentaries by 16 Shots, which explores the 2014 shooting of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald by Chicago police officer Jason Van Dyke, and the cover-up that ensued.
A Little Bit Showband, 8.30pm, RTÉ One
This is a timely repeat, as Ronan Collins presents a six-part documentary series celebrating the careers of the stars who rose to fame during the country's showband era.
This first edition focuses on the recently deceased Brendan Bowyer - often hailed as `Ireland's answer to Elvis' - who was the lead singer and front man of the dynamic 1960s pop group the Royal Showband.
Inside Monaco: Playground of the Rich, 9.00pm, BBC Two
The second programme in this documentary series goes behind the scenes as Casino de Monte Carlo holds an exclusive event aimed at high rollers, while at the palace Prince Albert II hosts the new French ambassador.
In Monaco's solitary tattoo parlour, Princess Stephanie's daughter Camille Gottlieb is getting a discreet new inking and sharing what life is like for her in the principality, and €4 billion worth of motor vessels enter the harbour for the annual yacht show.

Politician and barrister Michael McDowell (above) presents a documentary looking at the relationship between the Irish state and the Vatican, exploring how Rome came to shape the Irish political landscape.

College Behind Bars, 10.00pm, BBC Four
Here’s a two-part PBS documentary telling the story of a group of American men and women studying for university degrees while serving time in prison for serious crimes.
Shot over four years in maximum and medium security institutions in New York state, Lynn Novick's film tackles the failure to provide meaningful rehabilitation for more than two million Americans living behind bars.
Murder in the Car Park, 9.00pm, Channel 4
Docudrama about the killing of private investigator Daniel Morgan, who was found in the car park of a south London pub with an axe lodged in his skull and £1,000 poking out of his trouser pocket.
The subsequent inquiry has lasted 33 years, and cost £30 million, but has failed to convict anyone of Morgan's murder.
For the first time, those that were alleged to have committed the crime, the police officers who investigated, and the grieving brother of the victim all tell their story.

The return of the documentary series following two British families who have set up shop in Spain selling properties to fellow Brits looking for a home in the sun.

Return of the spoof documentary, written by and starring Daisy May Cooper and Charlie Cooper, about the day-to-day lives of two young people living in a small village in the Cotswolds.
The film crew arrives back in the village to discover some very sad news about a popular local resident. Meanwhile, Kerry faces some financial difficulties, so Kurtan steps in to help.

The hard-hitting family saga starring Mark Ruffalo as identical twin brothers Dominick and Thomas Birdsey concludes.
The penultimate episode revealed the truth about the brothers’ grandfather Domenico and his brother Vincenzo.
When Dominick finally got hold of a book written by Domenico, he found some similarities between him and his grandfather.
Like Domenico, he is looking after his schizophrenic brother, who is at Hatch Forensic Institute, and his condition is worsening.
