Since U Been Gone hitmaker Kelly Clarkson has filed for divorce from her husband of nearly seven years, Brandon Blackstock.
The 2002 American Idol winner met Blackstock at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2006 when she was rehearsing with Rascal Flatts.
The pair married in October 2013 at a luxury resort in the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee and have two children together, five-year-old daughter River Rose and four-year-old son Remington Alexander.
The A Moment Like This singer is seeking joint custody of the children and is reportedly seeking to have her pre-nuptial agreement which does not require her to pay maintenance to her soon-to-be ex-husband enforced.
