Murder in the Outback: The Falconio and Lees Mystery, 9.15pm, Channel 4

This documentary series examines the killing of British tourist Peter Falconio in Australia's Northern Territory in July 2001, exploring the details and questions that surround this infamous case.

In this first episode, Andrew Fraser, formerly one of Australia's foremost criminal defence lawyers, begins the reinvestigation into the Peter Falconio story.

He visits the Outback crime scene and speaks to a leading forensic scientist and witnesses from the time of the murder, who raise serious questions about evidence in the case.

Stephen Mulhern hosts a celebrity edition of the game show, asking Chris Kamara, Stacey Solomon (below) and Catherine Tyldesley to 'see it and say it' as they try to guess the familiar phrases hidden in animated clues.

After the first elimination, the two remaining players battle to reach the Super Catchphrase round, where one of them could win £50,000 for the charity of their choice.

Serengeti, 8.30pm, RTÉ 2

The aftermath of the devastating fire has left a blackened smoking wasteland, but rain soon brings hope to the scorched earth.

Kike the cheetah and wild dog leader Jasari are both teaching their cubs how to survive on their own, only to be interrupted by a grieving giraffe.

Dave, 10.00pm, BBC Two

In the first of the final two episodes of season one, Ally takes Dave with her when she attends her sister's wedding, where she is due to give the maid of honour speech.

Meanwhile, Mike is trying to finalise Dave's first record deal on the very same weekend.

Later, in the season finale, Dave fights to push his own creative vision - in this case, a brand new and controversial track called Jail.

World Cup Final '66: England v West Germany, 1.30pm, Channel 4

A charity re-run of the entire 1966 World Cup final, to raise money for the UK's National Emergencies Trust's Coronavirus Appeal.

Viewers can watch the game in the company of Geoff Hurst, Gabby Logan and a host of star guests. This programme includes special colour film footage of the event.

Derry Girls, 9.30pm, RTÉ One

Saoirse-Monica Jackson leads the charge in this Channel 4 comedy set against the Troubles in early-1990s Northern Ireland, now on RTÉ One for the first time.

The start of a new school term gets off to a bad start for Erin when she wakes to find her cousin reading her diary. But there’s worse to come when Granda Joe announces a bomb has been found on the bridge.

Britain's Most Expensive Home: Building for a Billionaire, 8.15pm, Channel 4

Turkey with Simon Reeve, 7.15pm, BBC Two

The first of two programmes in which the presenter explores the country that lies at the crossroads between Europe and Asia, and discovers the dramatic changes it is undergoing.

The first leg of his journey begins in Istanbul, from which he travels along the Aegean coast to the hostile border with Syria.

The Young Offenders, 10.00pm, RTÉ One

Alex Murphy and Chris Walley star as the eponymous Cork inner-city teenagers and best friends Conor and Jock.

They get into conflict with their headmaster - leaving Conor's mother to pick up the pieces. To add fuel to the fire, the lads strike up friendships with the headmaster's daughters.

A junior secret agent begins his latest mission by starting at a new school and befriending a classmate with the intention of spying on her scientist father - but realises all the training in the world cannot help him with the tricky business of talking to girls.

Three Amigos! 1.20pm, Comedy Central

Excellent family comedy, starring Steve Martin, Chevy Chase and Martin Short.

Three silent Western movie stars are summoned to Mexico for what they think will be a public appearance - only to discover the locals really believe in their heroic abilities and expect them to rid their town of a group of evil bandits.

Guys and Dolls, 3.50pm, BBC Two

Marvellous musical, starring Frank Sinatra, Marlon Brando and Jean Simmons, based on the short stories of Damon Runyon.

A gambler accepts a bet that he cannot win the heart of a strait-laced Salvation Army member.

Meanwhile, his friend has to find a secret location for an illegal dice game he is organising - while also contending with the police, a mobster and a girlfriend desperate to drag him to the altar.

Family Flick

The Jungle Book, 3.40pm, Sky Cinema Disney

Outstanding and much-loved Disney animated adventure based on Rudyard Kipling's stories, with the voices of Phil Harris and George Sanders

A boy is raised by animals in the jungle, leading a carefree life with his friends, a laidback bear and a wise panther.

The return of a ferocious tiger who hates humans places the youngster's life in danger, and his friends must persuade him to return to the safety of his own people.

Their only hope lies with a convicted murderer, who is equally at home in the darkness, and is far from trustworthy.

National Lampoon's Animal House, 9.00pm, Sky Comedy

A college's most slobbish and unruly student fraternity faces expulsion for upsetting the rigid social order of the campus. As a result, its madcap members plan one final act of rebellion against the college dean and a preppy bunch of snobbish bullies at the annual university homecoming parade.

An imaginative youngster with dreams of being an inventor grows up to be a downtrodden single mother, struggling to support her chaotic family.

She sees a chance to turn all their lives around when inspiration strikes and she creates a new household tool, but faces the challenge of selling her product in the demanding world of a home shopping TV station.

Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, 10.50pm, TCM

Classic buddy drama from the 1970s, starring Clint Eastwood, Jeff Bridges, George Kennedy and Geoffrey Lewis.

Retired bank robber John Doherty escapes a gunman with the aid of a young car thief, and together they go in search of the loot from the former crook's last job.

When they discover the stash is missing - and John's thuggish old partners are also looking for it - the pair decide to do a repeat robbery.

Quadrophenia, 1.35am, Film4

Revered teen drama based on the Who album of the same name, starring Phil Daniels, Leslie Ash, Sting and Ray Winstone.

A teenager in 1960s London is unhappy with his lot in life, but believes he has found a place to belong in the mod subculture and their feud with the rival rockers.
