Fontaines DC have announced that their second album, A Hero's Death, will be released on July 31.
The band revealed the news on social media on Tuesday evening and shared the title track - and Aidan Gillen-starring video - from the new album as first single.

"It feels like time hasn't ticked since we announced our first record just over a year ago," they wrote.
"We wrote these songs during the 12 months after finishing Dogrel [debut album] as a necessary reaction to assure ourselves we will always be the band we set out to be."
"A sincere thanks to everyone who has supported our music since and before then," the band concluded.
