They may not be together, but Oasis fans are in for a treat as Noel Gallagher released a song he thought was "lost" from the band.
The song is a demo of a track called Don't Stop… which was never released or even recorded in a studio.
Noel told fans on Twitter that he found the recording while clearing out "hundreds of faceless unmarked CDs".
He said: "I’ve had infinite time to kill lately so I thought I’d finally look and find out what was actually on the hundreds of faceless unmarked CDs I’ve got lying around at home. As fate would have it, I have stumbled across an old demo which I thought had been lost for ever.
"As far as I'm aware there is only one version of this tune "out there" from an Oasis soundcheck in Hong Kong about 15 years ago?
"It'll be up on the internet from midnight. The song is called: "Don't Stop..."
He added: "Hope everyone is staying safe and trying to ride out the lockdown with a minimum of fuss. You’re welcome by the way."
Noel has released three albums with his band Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds since Oasis parted ways in 2009. He has also released several EPs, including Blue Moon Rising which came out last month.
Liam recently proposed an Oasis reunion concert for a "one-off" charity gig.
