The Cirque Du Soleil Corteo dates set for this summer at Dublin's 3Arena have been rescheduled to July 2021.
It’s yet another event that has been postponed due to the current Covid-19 pandemic - and we all know it won’t be the last either.
In a statement, the Montreal-based entertainment company, which is the largest contemporary circus producer in the world, said: "We would like to thank each and everyone one of you for your patience and understanding during these challenging times.
"As you know, shows around the world have been put on pause in recent days as we all now becoming familiar with concepts like 'social distancing’, ‘self-isolation’ and ‘flattening the curve’ - all part of our collective efforts to slow and limit the spread of COVID-19.
"Because of the impact of this new reality, we have had to reschedule the Corteo performances in Dublin to the 14th to the 25th of July , 2021.
"Take care and stay safe. We will get through this together.
"From all of us at Cirque du Soleil."
The promoters have added. That all tickets for the original shows remain valid and no exchange is necessary. See www.mcd.ie for further details.
