Screen Ireland has announced new measures to support production companies creating slates that can be moved into production after restrictions are lifted.

Announcements by the body include a €3M slate development fund, financial planning support of up to €150,000, and development support of one million euros.
Changes have also been made to two existing funds: The Festivals and Events Funding Scheme has been changed to the Skills Development Events Funding Scheme and The International Bursary Award Scheme is now the Bursary Award Scheme, which provides funding for online skill development courses.
Irish screenwriters and production company loans are mostly being provided upfront until May 31, 2020.
The body is also providing marketing and distribution support for upcoming Irish film and TV releases.
