A bored family from Ontario in Canada have made the most of isolation by creating a brilliantly creative version of the iconic opening sequence to the much-loved cartoon show, The Simpsons.

Award-winning author Joel A. Sutherland, explained how his wife came across a set of Simpsons Halloween costumes when she was cleaning the basement.

With their three kids complaining that they were bored on day 23 of isolation, the family decided to  set about recreating the opening titles, which begin with Sutherland's son posing as Bart Simpson writing on the school chalkboard.

The spot-on video even impressed The Simpsons showrunner, Al Jean, who posted the video on his social media, while the official Simpsons account also gave it the nod of approval, saying "Quarantine creativity level [100 points]."
