This is the first time in years that workers have been given a chance to refresh the crossing, which is located directly outside the world-famous Abbey Road Studios in northwest London, because of the lack of traffic and tourists taking photos while using the crossing.
The album and connected artwork celebrated its 50th anniversary last year.
