Tom Hanks has posted another update from quarantine in Australia, while his wife, Rita Wilson, has delivered her own update in the form of a nineties rap.
The couple were among the first celebrities to reveal their Coronavirus diagnosis and have been in self-containing in Australia, where Hanks is filming Baz Luhrmann’s new film about Elvis Presley in which the actor plays Col. Tom Parker.
Posting on Twitter on Monday, Hanks said: "Hey, folks. Two weeks after our first symptoms and we feel better. Sheltering in place works like this: You don’t give it to anyone - you don’t get it from anyone. Common sense, no?
"Going to take a while, but it we can take care of each other, help where we can, and give up some comforts . . . This, too, shall pass. We can figure this out. Hanx."
