Dublin sister act Sisterix release their debut single Another Reason to Hate You today.
The song is a punchy and melodic wall of guitars with a cracking vocal and as the duo of Ornait Hennessy and Síomha Hennessy say, "The song gets to the core of that universal, but painful experience of growing up - the realisation that someone you may have idealised is actually deeply flawed and fallible.
"Another Reason To Hate You is a timely exploration of the inner conflict we experience when a loved one behaves in problematic ways, and lets us down"
According to the duo's biography, "Each sister possesses their own individual musical voice but choose to join forces in a dynamic musical duo that is at once symbiotic and parasitic.

"The question of whom the parasite is, can be left to the audience to decide, although each sister harbours their own personal views on the matter.
"A mixture of dysfunction and malaise, but also big love, passion and a lot of wicked chuckling, fuels this complicated musical duo.
"While at times they cant abide one another as the glare from the mirror each of them holds up to the other is too blinding, there is no place they feel more themselves than alongside one another singing each others miseries and joys, helping each other to make sense of the mindf**kery of life.
"Songwriting and sisterhood are the two greatest resources they draw on, to aid them in life and to help them find meaning in the meh.
"Whilst the songs address themes of alienation, frustration, and disconnection, the melodies, and sunny riffs are an exercise in joy. The contradictions of the human condition are easy companions here, if nowhere else."
