Tom Hanks has said he has been resoundingly thrashed in Gin Rummy by his wife Rita Wilson as they continue their Covid-19 recovery in Australia.
The couple have been released from hospital on the Gold Coast and are trying to put in the time as they recover.

In a post on Instagram, Hanks wrote: "Hey folks. Good News: One week after testing Positive, in self-isolation, the symptoms are much the same. No fever but the blahs. Folding the laundry and doing the dishes leads to a nap on the couch.
"Bad news: My wife @ritawilson has won 6 straight hands of Gin Rummy and leads by 201 points. But I have learned not to spread my Vegemite so thick. I travelled here with a typewriter, one I used to love. We are all in this together. Flatten the curve. Hanx."
Wilson has also been on Instagram to post herself singing Broken Man, which she wrote with Gary Burr. "People aren't perfect. Gotta love them flaws and all." she said.
Last Thursday, Hanks announced his diagnosis on Twitter and revealed that both he and his wife had contracted the virus. The 63-year-old Oscar-winner said he felt like he had a cold, while Wilson, also 63, suffered from "chills".
Hanks was on the Gold Coast for pre-production on an Elvis Presley biopic directed by Australian director Baz Luhrmann, in which the actor portrays the legendary singer's longtime manager, Colonel Tom Parker.
On Saturday, Luhrmann tweeted that he would also be "in isolation for the next 10 days", describing himself and his family as "healthy and well".
On Wednesday, the director posted an update about his current condition.
