David Gray is the latest performer who has been forced to postpone his upcoming shows in Dublin, but not Cork, over the coronavirus outbreak.
Gray, who is marking the 20th anniversary of his massively successful album White Ladder, was due to play dates at Dublin's 3Arena as part of his forthcoming tour but has issued a statement to say that the Dublin dates have been postponed.

In the statement, Gray said: "Due to restrictions put in place to help fight the current coronavirus pandemic we are going to have to follow government advice and postpone all of the U.K., Irish and European dates on the forthcoming White Ladder Anniversary Tour. We are currently looking at an alternative scheduling and will provide further details as and when we have them. "
He added: "The year ahead promises to be an extremely challenging time during which the core human values of compassion, togetherness and generosity are going to be more important than ever. Thank you all for your patience and understanding. Look after each other.

Several Irish and international acts have been live streaming shows amid the coronavirus outbreak, with Chris Martin and Keith Urban having already live-streamed gigs for fans in self-isolation.
Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol has announced planning a livestream of an acoustic gig on Thursday night on the band's Instragram page, and has asked fans for song requests.

Dundalk band The Mary Wallopers streamed a gig from their house last night on YouTube for St. Paddy's Day, while fiddler Colm Mac Con Iomaire played an 90-minute set over the weekend:
Rock veterans The Who have also released a statement about their Irish and UK tour for March, 2021. The 3Arena, Dublin show will take place on Friday, March 5, 2021.
All tickets for the original date are valid for the rescheduled date.The band wish to thank the fans for their patience and support.
Singer Roger Daltrey assured fans last week that the shows "May be the last time we do a tour of this type, so keep those tickets, as the shows will be fantastic".
