Fleabag's Andrew Scott and Merlin's Colin Morgan are among the nominees for the Olivier theatre awards in the UK.
Dubliner Scott is shortlisted for Best Actor for his performance in the Noël Coward comedy Present Laughter at London's Old Vic.

Armagh man Morgan is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the Arthur Miller drama All My Sons, also at the Old Vic.

Scott previously won an Oliver Award for Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre in 2005 for his role in Rob Evans' A Girl in a Car with a Man. He was also shortlisted in 2018 for Hamlet.
His Fleabag co-star Phoebe Waller-Bridge is also among the Olivier nominees. She is a Best Actress nominee for her solo performance in Fleabag at Wyndham's Theatre in London, with her comedy phenomenon also shortlisted for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play.

The awards take place on Sunday, April 5 at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
In other UK awards news, a number of Irish actors are nominated for this year's Royal Television Society Awards.
Aisling Bea is up for the Breakthrough Award for her comedy This Way Up and Derry Girls' Saoirse-Monica Jackson is nominated for Best Comedy Performance (Female), with The Young Offenders' Alex Murphy and Chris Walley jointly shortlisted for Best Comedy Performance (Male). Derry Girls has also received a nomination for Best Scripted Comedy.

In the Drama categories, Niamh Algar is among the nominees for Best Actor (Female) for her performance in The Virtues.
