Veteran Scottish act Teenage Fanclub will play shows in Dublin and Belfast this November in support of their new album Endless Arcade - their first since the departure of founding member Gerard Love in 2018.

The much-loved guitar act, who formed in 1989 and are hugely influenced by the three Bs - Beach Boys, Byrds and Big Star, play The Academy, Dublin on Friday, November 20 and the Empire Music Hall, Belfast on November 19.

The tour dates follow the release of their new album, which is out in October and marks their first new material since to 2016's Here.

The album will also be the band’s first to feature new member Euros Childs, former front man of Welsh act Gorky's Zygotic Mynci on keyboards and vocals. More details about the new album will be revealed in the coming months.

"The five of us headed to Clouds Hill Recordings in Hamburg in late November last year and got stuck into doing what we like best," the band said.

"Recording new songs. It felt good to start 2020 with 13 new tunes in the bag. We're currently busy assembling a selection of those into album form and putting the final gloss on the record".
