Ozzy Osbourne has said that he never partied with Elton John because he's convinced it would have led to an early grave.

In an interview with NME, Osbourne reveals he never crossed paths with Elton during their partying years, which the Black Sabbath singer now regards as a blessing.

"I don’t think we would have both f***ing made the ’90s if we had," the 71-year-old singer said.

Oy, where's Ozzy?

"I remember Sharon [his manager and wife] taking me to a gig of his [Elton's] years ago, and his f***ing dressing room was like a f***ing bar with every known f***ing spirit.

"Then he’d do seven gigs on the bounce. I’ve said to him, 'How the f*** did you keep singing?’ If I even thought about cocaine, my singing would go out the f***ing window."

More recently, Ozzy and Elton co-wrote the title track of Ozzy's new album, Ordinary Man, Osbourne's first studio album as a solo artist in a decade.
