Mutya Buena of Sugababes has said that she is "waiting for the call" to go on Strictly Come Dancing.

Speaking to RTÉ 2FM's Louise McSharry, the singer said that she would "like the exercise" and that she had started her career off dancing as a child.

The original Sugababes line-up of Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy have regained the right to make music using the band's name after a trade mark dispute.

The trio formed in 1998 and won acclaim for their debut single Overload. When asked if the Sugababes are going to reform the singer said that they are currently recording.

"We have always maintained staying close and I speak to them on a regular basis, in fact I am seeing them tomorrow."

Buena had a recent collaboration with Electric Pineapple and a single called Black Valentine.
