Love Island couple Priscilla Anyabu and Mike Boateng have said they are leaving the villa happy and hopeful about their future together.

The pair packed their bags on Friday night's show after placing bottom of the public vote for favourite couple. Couples Luke Mabbott and Demi Jones, Finn Tapp and Paige Turley, Luke Trotman and Siânnise Fudge and Ched Uzor and Jess Gale will now contest the Love Island final.

"I came in hoping I was going to find someone I could spend the rest of my life with, and potentially I feel like that's where I'm going with Priscilla," Mike told ITV after his departure. "We're excited. We'll see what the world has to offer us."

Priscilla added: "I said to Mike the other day, 'I've got a boyfriend!' I didn't expect to find someone; I thought I may walk out of this single. So to have a boyfriend - who asked me in front of the world - it was so surreal, but I'm happy it's Mike."

Before entering the Love Island villa Mike had a plan to move back to London - and he said meeting Priscilla has made that a certainty.
"We'll meet family again and friends and catch up, settle back into reality," he said. "But my move down to London makes it easier for the two of us."
"We are going to be around each other and we've just talked about continuously growing," she said. "We are just enjoying building our relationship outside of our bubble first."

Love Island continues on Virgin Media One and ITV2.
