Canadian artist The Weeknd holds at the top spot with his 80s-inspired Blinding Lights for the second week in a row with a lead of over over 1,000 chart sales. Blinding Lights was the most downloaded song of the week, scoring the most audio streams to boot.

Meanwhile, Dua Lipa secures her sixth Irish Top 10 hit with Physical, this week’s highest new entry at Number 9. There are also new peaks for Halsey’s You Should Be Sad and Saint Jhn’s Roses at Numbers 11 and 12 respectively.

Over on the albums chart, Lewis Capaldi’s Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent spends a 10th non-consecutive week at Number 1, becoming the longest-reigning chart-topping debut album for 15 years in Ireland.

The last person to achieve this was James Blunt who scored 14 weeks with Back To Bedlam across 2005 and 2006.

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson drops in at number 15 with his debut solo album Walls, this week’s highest new entry.

After releasing her Netflix documentary Miss Americana, Taylor Swift’s Number 1 album Lover returns to the Top 10, up 16 places to Number 10.

On the Homegrown Chart, Somebody’s Child makes his first appearance in the Top 20 following his appearance on The Late Late Show last Friday. His album Love That Sound lands at Number 13.

The Original Rudeboys released their first single in nearly five years, titled Hypocrite, and the track debuts  at Number 18 in its opening week.

Splitting up after two Top 3 albums in 2016, the hip-hop group are now a duo consisting of Sean Arkins and Robert Burch; ukulele player Sean Walsh now lives abroad and is not part of the reunion.
