Ireland rugby star Rob Kearney has popped the question to his long-time girlfriend Jess Redden while holidaying in New York.
The Leinster pro proposed to Redden, a model and pharmacy student, while they were in the Big Apple to ring in the new year.
Redden took to Instagram to post a picture of them in Time's Square while holding up her engagement ring to the camera.
She captioned the photo: "Happy NYE from me and my hubby to be."
Kearney posted a similar photo to his Instagram page and wrote: "It's a Yes from NYC!!"
The couple were inundated with messages of congratulations from friends and followers, including fellow sports stars Simon Zebo, Rory Best, Jamie Heaslip and Tommy Bowe.
Actress Amy Huberman also congratulated the couple, writing: "Huge congratulations to you both!"
Kearney and Redden have been in a relationship for over five years.
