American actress Michelle Williams is reported to be engaged and expecting her second child.
Sources have told People magazine that the Brokeback Mountain and Dawson's Creek star has accepted a marriage proposal from Tony Award-winning director Thomas Kail and is also pregnant with his baby.
39-year-old Williams is already mother to Matilda, her 14-year-old daughter from her relationship with the late Heath Ledger, who died in January 2008.
The four-time Oscar nominee worked with Kail on the hit TV series Fosse/Verdon – where she was outstanding as dancer and actress Gwen Verdon, and went on to win an Emmy Award for the part.

Although pretty anonymous this side of the Atlantic, Kail is best known in the USA for directing the Off-Broadway and Broadway productions of Lin-Manuel Miranda's In the Heights and hip-hop hit Hamilton.
The engagement news comes less than a year after Williams split from musician Phil Elverum, to whom she was briefly married from 2018 to 2019.
This will also be 42-year-old Kail's second marriage - he previously tied the knot with actress Angela Christian.
