Canadian network cuts Trump scene out of Home Alone 2

Donald Trump Junior and other Trump supporters have reacted badly to the decision by a Canadian television network, CBC, to the cut the Trump scene out of Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.

The 1992 follow-on film is all based in New York City after the tweenie misses a flight with his family and has to fend for himself.

Trump is in a scene in the Plaza Hotel, which he owned at the time. Kevin McAllister asks him for directions to the reception area.

A spokesperson for the Canadian TV network CBC told Comicbook.com: "As is often the case with features adapted for television, 'Home Alone 2' was edited to allow for commercial time within the format."
