Reality TV star Dan Osborne has publicly apologised to his wife, former EastEnders star and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! winner Jacqueline Jossa, following allegations that he had been unfaithful.

The 27-year-old The Only Way Is Essex took to Instagram on Monday to address the allegations, saying some were true, while others "very untrue".

He acknowledged he has "made some mistakes" that "almost cost me my family", and added that he will "spend the rest of my life being the best husband and dad that I can be."

Osborne wrote in a post on Instagram: "So after weeks, months, years of constant articles and rumours, some true, some very untrue.

"I want to publicly say, I know I have made some mistakes, we all do as humans, but I've made some that have almost cost me my family.

"I have seriously learnt from these massively, so I want to publicly apologise to my beautiful wife and my family for the mistakes I've made.

"I am the luckiest man in the world to have what I have with Jacqueline and my three incredible children and I will spend the rest of my life being the best husband and dad that I can be."

He added: "Jac, myself and our families are excited for the future, one filled with love and happiness together. We truly appreciate everyone that has supported us as a couple, we are ending this year stronger than ever."

Meanwhile, earlier on Monday, Jossa addressed her relationship with Osbourne on ITV's Lorraine, saying her husband had "done wrong" but that she wants to "restart" the relationship.

She said: "The thing is, it's really funny because we've been going through it for two years - this isn’t new for me."

Speaking about reports about Osborne in the tabloids, she continued: "It got brought up again because of Myles but at the same time, I was really glad it made me think of stuff while I was in there [the jungle].

"I had no choice, I was in there for three and a half weeks, no phone, no contact with anyone, nothing but time. You've got to think constantly. It just helped me a lot to be in there."

"To be honest, I want to hit the restart button, it's been two years of me basically giving him hell. It's not like he's got away lightly at all, he knows he’s done wrong, he knows he's done a lot wrong", she added.

"There's some stuff that’s absolutely not true, that's being done with legal so I can't talk about it."

Jossa, who is best known for her role playing Lauren Branning in BBC soap EastEnders between 2010 and 2018, was named queen of the I'm A Celeb jungle earlier this month.
