The full Late Late Show line-up for Friday night has been revealed, with Pat Shortt and Jason Byrne among the guests.

It was announced earlier this week that the show will see a host of Irish entertainment and music industry stars pay tribute to legendary Pogues singer-songwriter Shane MacGowan.

MacGowan will be in studio performing a number of his best-known songs, including a very special rendition of Fairytale of New York

Guests including Aidan Gillen, Patrick Bergin, Moya Brennan, Philomena Begley and Pat McCabe will join host Ryan Tubridy, Shane, and his wife Victoria Mary Clarke, discussing the writing of some of his best-known songs and the impact he and The Pogues have had on the Irish music industry.

Also coming up, actor and comedian Pat Shortt will be in studio, making his way through the audience as his latest character. Comedian Jason Byrne will also be appearing, giving his take on recent news stories and chatting about his series of children's books.

With Christmas around the corner, Ryan will be speaking to a number of volunteers who have been working tirelessly with Ireland's homeless over the past year, showcasing the positive impact that volunteering can have for both parties.

Watch The Late Late Show, Friday December 13 at 9.35pm on RTÉ One.
